Clarifying on reports claiming his stint with the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is going to end, team India and SRH all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy said he will always stand by the team.

In a tweet on Sunday, Nitish wrote, "I tend to stay away from the noise, but some things deserve clarity. My connection with SRH is built on trust, respect, and years of shared passion. I’ll always stand by this team. 🧡"
Earlier, few media reports claimed that Nitish was unhappy with the batting order in which he played played for the team during the 2025 season and the number of overs he was allotted.
He often played at Number 7 and number 8 during the season and bowled only five overs despite being an all-rounder.
Interestingly, Nitish was among the few players along with India's Abishek Sharma to be retained by the former IPL champion team.
