What's the fuss about?

According to the reports of Sportskeeda, ex- Real Madrid midfielder Fernando Redondo has made a forceful argument on his club's current form after Cristiano Ronaldo's exit, mentioning that the changing period will be tough, especially since CR7 was someone who assured effectiveness is no longer with the club.

Just to inform you

Since Ronaldo left the Los Blancos side for Serie A champions Juventus last summer, the 13 times Champions League winning side has been craving for a player who nets 40-50 goals every season.

Cristiano’s exit influenced Real Madrid's horrible start to the current season and the immediate sacking of Zinedine Zidane's successor, Julen Lopetegui.

After Santiago Solari assumed the charge, the side first made little changes to the starting line-up only to witness consecutive defeats to arch-rivals Barcelona, resulting in their exit from the Copa Del Rey as well as the La Liga title.

However, the Uefa Champions League (UCL) winner still have a chance to win a single trophy in the current season and Solari's future seems like depends on it.

Recently, the 2018 Ballon d'Or winner, and Croatian playmaker Luka Modric accepted that the club misses Ronaldo, stating that searching a replacement for the 5 time Ballon d'Or winner is nearly impossible.

Redondo’s opinion on real’s current form

Redondo has stated that despite Ronaldo's absence appears clearly in the reigning UCL champions, although the club still has a chance to win the Champions League as a form of consolation.

The former Blancos player told Marca, "It's a difficult moment, it's not been easy for Real Madrid since the beginning of the season."

"After having won the Champions League the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo is clearly impacting the team. We can see a lack of forcefulness, effectiveness, the kind which Ronaldo guaranteed. This process isn't going to be easy, but the fact Real Madrid are always alive in the Champions League is a plus."
