The City College Old Boys (CCOB) Football Club registered a massive 4-0 victory over the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation — courtesy a brilliant hat-trick by Azeen — while the match between Fateh Hyderabad and Tarnaka Football Club ended in a goalless draw in the ‘A’ Division Rahim Football League being organised by the Telangana Football Association in the twin cities.

At the Gymkhana Grounds, CCOB were the more aggressive team right from the start, and their tactics paid off in just the fifth minute when Massi beat the defenders and the goalkeeper in a fine effort and took them 1-0 up.

Before TSRTC could regroup, Azeen made it 2-0 when he scored an effortless goal for the first of his three strikes in the match.

Just 20 minutes later, the ball found itself at Azeen’s feet once more and just as before, Azeen had no trouble in thundering the ball in past a leaden-footed TSRTC goalkeeper.

At half-time the scoreline read 3-0 in CCOB’s favour. Most of the second half was uneventful but in the 83rd minute, Azeen punched through the TSRTC backline and shot the ball into goal to complete the rout and with it, his treble.
