Djokovic Reacts to Kohli's Instagram Post After Wimbledon Visit
Virat Kohli was among the many to witness Djokovic's magic on Monday at the Centre Court
Tennis legend Novak Djokovic responded to Cricketing superstar Virat Kohli early on Tuesday following win over 11th-seeded Alex de Minaur at Centre Court.
Kohli alongwith his wife and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma were among the crowds at Wimbledon cheering for Djokovic.
The 36-year-old batting maestro took to Instagram on Monday and wrote, "What a match. It was business as usual for the gladiator."
The former India captain said he was thrilled to be back at the Centre Court after 10 years.
"Yes 2015 was the first time i was here. Firstly thank you for welcoming me with such warmth. Its great being here again. Me and Anushka, we came in 2015 that was our first experience. Just to experience what Wimbledon is was very very special. We always planned of coming back but it didn't happen because of various reasons and now we're here."
The Serbian acknowledging Kohli's appreciation responded with an Instagram post, where he said, "Thank You for Supporting," reposting Kohli's story.
Right before Wimbledon began, Djokovic declared it was the tournament that gave him the best chance to claim an unprecedented 25th Grand Slam singles trophy. Made sense, really, given that he’s won seven titles there already and reached the past six finals.
