KL Rahul’s 152 Powers Delhi Capitals to Massive 264/2

DC piled on 75 runs in the last five overs to finish with a daunting total, leaving the opposition with a steep chase ahead.

KL Rahul smashed a career best unbeaten 152, the highest score by an Indian in the IPL, while Nitish Rana also feasted on a hapless Punjab Kings attack (91) as Delhi Capitals piled up a daunting 264 for 2, here on Saturday.Defying the sweltering afternoon heat, the duo went on a rampage, stitching together a record 220-run stand for DC off just 96 balls after they opted to bat.

Rahul led the charge with 14 fours and nine sixes en route to his sixth IPL hundred, while Rana provided the perfect support with 11 boundaries and four hits over the fence.

Rahul's 152 was the third highest score overall in the IPL.
