However, as more details came out, the public has been sympathetic to the woman. In a video she released after the incident, she explained that her young daughter is suffering from a critical medical condition and urgently requires an expensive medicine for survival. In a desperate act to find a solution, she decided to seek help directly from senior Indian cricketers. According to her, approaching Rohit Sharma was not about publicity or attention but a last attempt to appeal for assistance.
