Thiruvananthapuram: Shafali Verma smashed an unbeaten 79 off 42 balls as India Women cruised to an eight-wicket win over Sri Lanka Women in the third T20I here on Friday.
Chasing 113, India finished at 115 for 2 in 13.2 overs, with skipper Harmanpreet Kaur unbeaten on 21 as the target was overhauled with 40 balls to spare.
Earlier, pacer Renuka Singh returned with a four-wicket haul on comeback and Deepti Sharma picked three wickets to restrict Sri Lanka to 112 for 7 in 20 overs despite Imesha Dulani (27), Hasini Perera (25) and Kabisha Dilhari (20) showing some resistance.
India lead the five-match series 3-0.
