Deekshit, Dheeraj, Akhil Top Bowlers In Hyderabad Cricket League

Rapole’s century came from 140 balls and included 13 fours and two sixes, while Javvaji reached three figures from just 82 balls, striking five fours and nine sixes. Neeraj Bist also produced an unbeaten 100 from 84 balls for Deccan Chronicle, making the UBI-Deccan Chronicle contest the round’s strongest run-scoring performance.

The bowling honours were dominated by Ajay Dev Goud’s 5/55 for Imperial and Md Asif Mansoori’s 5/25 for Deccan Wanderers. Mansoori’s spell was particularly economical, while Imperial’s 459 provided the biggest total among the matches featuring a five-wicket haul.

Several teams produced commanding victories through substantial batting totals. Imperial made 459, while R. Dayanand posted 350 and Deccan Wanderers 351. UBI also completed a successful chase of 269 in 55.5 overs, while EMCC chased 215 in only 45.2 overs to defeat Combined District-1. Evergreen’s 317 against SBI and Jai Hanuman’s 192-run chase of SCRSA’s 178 further underlined the batting strength across the division.

The ‘B’ Division was dominated by exceptional batting numbers, with G. Parthiv Varma’s 138 and Avula Nikhsith’s 114 powering Oxford Blues to 473. Arjun NC also produced a major all-round performance for Cheerful Chums, scoring an unbeaten 106 in 154 balls to follow-up on his bowling figures of 4/92 on Monday.

The bowling performances were equally striking at the individual level. Thalari Deekshit’s 7/47 was the best wicket haul, while K. Akhil and Dheeraj each claimed 6/11. Siddharth Gutta and Ayaan Abdullah added five-wicket hauls, with Abdullah’s 5/30 standing out for economy.
