Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cricket Association’s Under-19 Men’s Super League witnessed outstanding bowling performances and a series of significant individual contributions across both matches, with Team ‘D’ registering a notable victory over Team ‘C’ in a contest dominated by wicket-taking spells.

The standout performance came from Ishan Narayan Reddy, who claimed an impressive 6/44 to help Team ‘C’ bowl out Team ‘D’ for 260 in the first innings. Hari Om Singh took 5/45 for Team ‘D’ before Team ‘C’ hit back through another clinical bowling effort from Mote Midun, who finished with 5/39.

Vikash Gupta was a major contributor for Team ‘D’, scoring 62 in the first innings and following it up with an excellent 83 in the second.

The other match between Team ‘A’ and Team ‘B’ remained competitive as the latter declared their first innings at 296/9 before being bowled out for 228 in the second innings, with Ayush Malhotra top-scoring with 89. Team ‘A’ replied with 271, led by Prince P (67) and Arjun N. Chandrasekhar (63 in 115 balls, 4x4, 2x6), but were left at 57/4 in their second innings at stumps.

The ‘C’ Division One-Day League witnessed a series of commanding batting performances, exceptional individual bowling displays and several emphatic victories, with the standout contribution coming from Red Hills’ Abdul Samad, who smashed 232 off 131 balls to power his team to a massive 419/7 against Chinmaya Krishna Blues. His innings, featuring 20 fours and 12 sixes.

Walkertown produced another outstanding batting performance, posting 404/6 against Victory through P. Rayudu Nayak’s 145 and B. Pavan Kumar Goud’s 104. HCA District-3 were equally impressive, compiling 307/1 as G. Karthik remained unbeaten on 166 and V. Dakshith Reddy contributed 101.

The bowling performances were equally remarkable. Southern Raymonds’ Deepak Yadav Kalyawale delivered an extraordinary spell of 9/17 in 6.5 overs to dismantle Starlets, while Sagar XI’s Jaidev Goud returned sensational figures of 6/4 in six overs against Sri Shyam. Young Masters’ Mohd Nurhaan also claimed 6 for 14 runs, helping his side bundle Ameerpet for 78. St Andrews’ Syed Sufiyan Abdul Kareem struck an unbeaten 144.
