Mumbai: Team India made every minute count during the training session on the eve of the semifinal clash against West Indies here at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. Amidst the Manish Pandey or Ajinkya Rahane whispers, Ravindra Jadeja hogged the limelight out of nowhere.

The left-handed batsman – who hardly gets to bat these days – spent a good amount of time at the nets.

His fans will be pleased to know that their beloved ‘Sir’ is still capable of clearing the fence. Jadeja cleared the rope thrice, twice playing the sweep shot.

Earlier, he used to bat at No 7 but he dropped one place down after Hardik Pandya’s inclusion.

With the bat, Jadeja won several matches for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.

Since MS Dhoni loves risks and experiments, one shouldn’t be surprised if Jadeja is seen at No 5 in place of Yuvraj Singh. Pawan Negi - who is an all-rounder - remains a possibility as well.
