Virat Kohli finds a friend in Toni Kroos during Euro 2016
Germany footballer presents signed jersey to India Test skipper.
Mumbai: India Test skipper Virat Kohli is a global figure, his association with designer brands, friendship with international athletes isn’t new. The new addition to the elite list is Toni Kroos – the German footballer.
Kroos – the midfielder for Germany and Real Madrid – recently sent a signed jersey to the cricketer as a token.
The 26-year-old has been astounding in the recent past with brilliant control and agility.
He attempted 449 passes and completes 417 of them; however, he is yet to score a goal but that doesn’t seem far.
He completed 121 passes in Germany’s 1-0 win against Northern Ireland in the European Championship.
Kohli thanked him for the present and said he will soon send one for the footballer.

The cricketer also wished him luck for the quarterfinal of the European Championship.
While Kroos will sharpen his skills to tackle Italy, Kohli will be busy preparing for the long tour of the Caribbean.
Kohli had a terrific year, starting from the limited-overs series against Australia, Asia Cup Twenty20, ICC World Twenty20 leading up to the IPL where he scored four hundreds.
