Free Test access to school children

Hyderabad Cricket Association president G. Vivekanand stuck to his guns and said he was right in not allowing former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin at Sunday's acrimonious meet.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cricket Association has decided to grant free access to school students for the Test match between India and West Indies, to be played from October 12 to 16 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.

Interested schools may send their students along with a caretaker to look after the welfare, safety and security of the students. 

The school management should also mention two preferential dates of deputation of their students during the match, following which the HCA will allot dates according to availability, a press release issued by the CEO C. Panduranga Murthy read.

Applications addressed to the CEO, Hyderabad Cricket Association, RGICS, Uppal, Hyderabad-500039 should reach on or before October 5 along with the following details: a) Number of students being deputed; b) Preferred two dates; c) Name, designation and contact number of the caretaker.
