Kanpur: Mumbai Indians all-rounder Kieron Pollard expressed shock over his compatriot Dwayne Bravo being fined for 50 per cent of his match fee for breaching the Indian Premier League (IPL) Code of Conduct.

A fine was imposed on Bravo for getting close to Pollard and pushing him during Gujarat Lions’ match against Mumbai Indians at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.
Pollard took to Twitter to back Bravo and said he had seen even worse incidents on the field and termed the fine as ridiculous.

“Ridiculous outcome...!! Again I have seen worst happen obscenities used no outcome but @DJBravo47 fined,” tweeted Pollard and added: “It’s slowly turning into a robotic game.. No emotions no actions nothing ...2020 = entertainment !! Rigorous battles !! Everything is a fine.” Later on Bravo joined Pollard and said they are “best of friends “ on and off the field. “Calm down everybody.

@KieronPollard55 and I are best friends on and off the field. Pity that normal banter is being shaped to suit agendas. It’s never that serious. Forever #champion brothers,” he tweeted.
