Hyderabad: Secunderabad Club, Deccan Club, Jubilee Hills International Centre, Nizam Club and the Zoroastrian Club won their respective matches at the annual inter-club T20 cricket tournament being organised by the Secunderabad Club in the city on Sunday.
In a one-sided affair, an unbeaten century by Anirudh Sompalli (106 n. o.) helped Jubilee Hills (116 for no loss) thump Fateh Maidan Club (115/9 in 20 overs) by 10 wickets.
Anirudh was on the money right from the first ball, smashing Fateh Maidan bowlers all over the park. The unbeaten centurion was named the Man of the Match for his effort.
In another match, Nizam Club made a mockery of a 192-run target set by New Club, chasing down the required runs in 17.5 overs with six wickets to spare.
Batting first, Shreyas top-scored with a brilliant 55 while Charan played second fiddle with his 48. Rahul added 32 while Abhinay added 25 to the team’s tally.
Then, Prithvi Reddy led the Nizam Club assault with a fine 63 while Aditya Agarwal’s fluent 51 kept the chase under control. Nitesh Reddy (23) also impressed with the bat.
In another one-sided match, hosts Secunderabad Club (96/2) trounced Zoroastrian Club (95/5 in 20 overs) by eight wickets.
In another match, Saket Dattrak’s (3/10) broke the backbone of Press Club as they were bowled out for 111. Deccan Club replied with 113/3 in 16.3 overs.

New Club 191/4 in 20 overs (Shreyas 55, Charan 48, Rahul 32, Abhinay 25, Parth Sathwalekar 2/48) lost to Nizam Club 193/4 in 17.5 overs (Nitesh Reddy 23, Aditya Agarwal 51, Prithvi Reddy 63).
Fateh Maidan Club 115/9 in 20 overs (Arvind Shetty 35, Mayank Gupta 33, Abhinav 20, Anirudh Gupta 2/9, S. Yudish 2/12) lost to Jubilee Hills International Centre 116 for no loss (Anirudh Sompalli 106 n. o.) Man Of the Match: Anirudh Sompalli.
