London: India’s chance of lifting the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 received major boost after skipper Mithali Raj reportedly clarified that the star batswoman Harmanpreet Kaur, who suffered a niggle during the practice session, would be available for the final.

Mithali Raj-led Team India is all set to take on England in the final match of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 at Lord’s on Sunday. Kaur was seen holding her shoulder in pain during the net session on Saturday and the physio was spotted applying ice on it.

India entered the final by beating Australia in the semi final thanks to a wonderful knock by right-handed batswoman who scored 171.

India would be playing their second final in the history of women’s World Cup. The last time made a cut into the final game was back in 2005 under the captaincy of Mithali but lost to Australia. Mithali and Jhulan Goswami are the only two players from that edition who are featuring in this World Cup as well.
