Mumbai: ‘Brothers in Arms’ – a popular song by rock and roll band Dire Straits – is still hummed and quoted when talking about harmony and brotherhood. Cricket, thanks to IPL, already boasts of such relations. But the Mumbai Indians camp is experiencing sibling love in the literal sense.

Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya — who once shared the same roof in Baroda — are in the same dressing room for the IPL franchise.

Hardik was a find of the eighth edition of the cash-rich league while Krunal seems to be the discovery of the ongoing season.

Both the brothers are all-rounders and can turn a match from any situation.

On Wednesday, Krunal’s two crucial wickets – that of AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli – paused Royal Challengers Bangalore’s attacking approach. Mumbai Indians won the match by six wickets with 12 balls to spare.

Though for a losing cause, but Krunal slammed a 28-ball 49 against Sunrisers Hyderabad when the top-order failed.

On the other hand, Hardik is yet to fire in the tournament but he comes from a successful World Cup campaign where he will be remembered for the last over against Bangladesh. India won the match by one run.
