Hyderabad's Vijay 4th Test Observer

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Cricket Association joint secretary R. Vijayanand has been appointed Match Observer for the fourth Test between India and Australia to be played at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala from March 25 to 29.

Vijay will have to report to the BCCI on match arrangements and facilities at the HPCA Stadium within a week after the game.

A seasoned hand in HCA politics, Vijayanand has been on the State cricket body’s ruling committee since 1998 as its Executive Committee member before becoming an office-bearer in 2014.

Vijay is a key figure in HCA politics by virtue of his control over quite a few clubs. He is the secretary of R. Dayanand Cricket Club that plays in the top division.
