Napier: After concluding the Australia tour on a high, Virat Kohli and Co now gear up for an away series against New Zealand, where they will play five ODIs and three T20Is. Both the nations have had similar sets of fortune in ODIs. India have defeated West Indies and Australia in their past two ODI series while New Zealand have blanked Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The ODI and T20I series will begin on 23rd January and 6th February respectively. The series promises to be a thrilling affair as it will feature six of the top fifteen ODI batsmen and seven of the top fifteen T20I batsmen. In bowling, the spectators will be treated by the exploits of Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mitchell Santner and Trent Boult.
