Among the Indians, Karn Sharma was the big winner as Mumbai battled Gujarat to pick up the spinner, base price Rs 30 lakhs, for Rs 3.2 crores. Tamil Nadu pacer T Natarajan came a close second, going to Kings XI Punjab for '3 crore.

The pacer attracted bids from Pune, KKR and Hyderabad which took his price into the eight-figure mark from a lowly Rs 10 lakh. The big money for domestic players leaned towards the bowling ability as Karnataka all-rounder K. Gowtham ('2 cr, MI), Hyderabad’s Mohammad Siraj (Rs 2.6 cr, SRH), Ankit Chaudhary (Rs 2 cr, to RCB), M. Aswin (Rs 1 cr, to DD) and Varun Aaron ('2.8 cr, to KXIP) all fetched massive bids.
