Nottingham: The cricket fans on Twitter were all out in force as they slammed the England pacer for having a go at young Indian Test debutant Rishabh Pant on Day two of the third England versus India Test here on Sunday.

India resumed Day two at the overnight score of 307/6, with Pant batting in the middle. While India harboured hopes of adding at least 50-60 runs to their overnight total, James Anderson and Broad made short work of Indian lower order as India were all out for 329, with Broad dismissing Pant for 24 as the left-hander chopped one back onto the stumps.

However, what irked the Indian fans was Broad’s angry send off to Pant. The England pacer swore at Pant as he put his head down and started to walk, disappointed.
