Chennai: India were dealt a minor setback on the eve of the fifth and final Test against England in Chennai as off-spinner Jayant Yadav was ruled out of the final Test due to a hamstring injury.

Leg-spinner Amit Mishra has been included in the squad; the bowler was dropped after the first Test at Rajkot for an ordinary performance.

Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was also dropped in the favour Ishant Sharma.

Offie Jayant, who is dubbed as India’s find of the series, scored his maiden century in Mumbai to help Indian post a mammoth 631 in the first innings of the fourth Test.

The lower order batsman also became the first Indian No. 9 batsman to score a Test ton.

India clinched the five-match series 3-0 Mumbai with an innings and 36 runs victory.
