Mumbai: Virender Sehwag is best known for his swashbuckling style of batting. Now, after the end of his cricket career, the former India opener has been hitting the Twitteratti for sixes.

Most recently, Sehwag congratulated India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin for his Man of the Series performance in the three-Test series against New Zealand, at home.

Ashwin took 27 wickets in the three-match series, a feat that took his career tally to 220 wickets from 39 matches. This is the highest number of wickets taken by any bowler, after playing 39 Tests. In his tweet, Sehwag suggested that Ashwin was in a hurry to finish the third Test early (on Day 4), as he wanted to get back to his wife.

However, this induced some interesting replies from both Ashwin and Sehwag’s wives.
