Mumbai: Mohit Sharma, who was part of Indian squad for World Cup 2015, has made a rather bizarre revelations blaming hair loss for his loss of form on the cricket field.

The Haryana medium pacer last represented India in October last year. He was dropped from the Indian team after the fifth ODI against South Africa where the visitors hammered India scoring 438 runs.

Sharma, in that game, had conceded 84 runs in his 7 overs as Quniton de Kock, Faf du Plessis and AB de Villiers hit tons.

“I realised I was losing hair, and it really affected my confidence big time, which in turn affected my bowling,” 'Hindustan Times' quoted him as saying.

While the former Chennai Super Kings’ bowler struggled to take wickets in his last Ranji Trophy game against Kerala, he is enjoying a good domestic season wherein he has picked up two 5-wicket hauls.
