London: While the Lord’s cricket ground has been home to some of the biggest cricket games, including the World Cup finals, the iconic venue often grabs the attention for their lunch menu for the teams.

The variety it has on offer has often been the talking point. The case has been no different during the ongoing Test between England and India.

However, a food item on Lord’s lunch menu for the players irked some of the cricket fans in India.

After Mohammed Shami managed to put India in front in the first session on Day three, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) tweeted a picture of the lunch menu, saying, A well earned Lunch for #TeamIndia. You prefer? #ENGvIND.”
