Mumbai: Fawad Chaudhry, Pakistan’s Minister for Science and Technology, has criticised MS Dhoni and stated that Dhoni deserved to lose the semi-final against New Zealand.

Chaudhry took to twitter and called India’s defeat to New Zealand as "disgraceful", and also added that the former Indian captain has made the gentleman’s game ‘filthy’ by involving in spot-fixing and being biased.

Fawad’s tweet stated, "Dhoni you deserved such disgraceful exit for polluting the gentleman's game with fixing and bias!"

The minister for science and technology also stated that Pakistan has started loving New Zealand for defeating India in the semi-finals. Fawad tweeted, "Pakistanion ki Nayi Mohabbat NewZeeland."

However, the Pakistan minister’s comments were hugely condemned by cricket lovers all over the world on the social media sites since Dhoni is immensely respected by the people for his contribution to cricket.

Earlier, when England defeated India by 31-runs, several former Pakistani cricketers blamed Team India for intentionally losing to England, hence stopping Pakistan from reaching the semis.
