Mumbai: India thrashed Bangladesh by eight wickets to win the Asia Cup T20 in Mirpur on Wednesday. Opener Shikhar Dhawan – who won the Man of the Match award for his 44-ball 60 – agreed that his muscles finally came to use.

Yuvraj Singh turned reporter for the stylish moustached cricketer.

“I enjoyed butting (batting),” said Dhawan in his North Indian accent to which Yuvraj replied: “Batting.”

“I gave myself time, I knew we needed big partnership,” he added.

Yuvraj called him Jat ji and praised his muscles.

“That’s why you are called Jat ji, you have all these big muscles,” said Yuvraj.

“Big muscles come handy at everything. Moustache is always there, ye meri shaan hai (it is my pride),” replied Dhawan.

In the meanwhile, Suresh Raina entered the frame and told Yuvraj: “I was waiting to bat but it didn’t come, I thought both me and you can finish it off.”

Yuvraj added that they both should do that in the ICC World Twenty20.
