After piling 333 for 7, the hosts bowled out the visitors for 267 in 46.5 overs. Decent knocks from Ishan Kishan (51), Saurabh Tiwary (49) and Atul Singh Surwar (58 not out) were not good enough for Jharkhand.

Earlier, Rohit smashed 126 off 135 balls, eight of which were dispatched to the fence and three went sailing over it as he sent the rival bowlers on a leather hunt.

Put in to bat, Hyderabad got off to a rocking start as Rohit and P. Akshath Reddy went after the bowling. They had rattled 139 for the opening wicket before captain Akshath fell after making a 73-ball 75 that included eight boundaries and a six.
