T. Ravi Teja of Andhra Bank smashed century while R. Dayanand's A. Lalith Mohan picked a five-for to steal the show on the final day of their respective Pool A' matches in the Hyderabad Cricket Association's top division league played here on Friday.

Hyderabad: Captain Ambati Rayudu cracked a century as Hyderabad declared their first innings at 474 for 9 on the second day of the Ranji Trophy match against Railways being played at the Karnail Singh Stadium in New Delhi.

Resuming at his overnight score of 88, Rayudu hit 112 that included 14 boundaries and three sixes. The right-handed batsman hogged Thursday’s limelight with his 189-ball knock.

B. Sandeep was the other big contributor to the Hyderabad total. The left-hander made 82 which included 10 boundaries.

T. Ravi Teja (70) and Akash Bhandari (40) also propped up the Hyderabad total.
In reply, Railways were 35 for 1 when stums were drawn for the day.
Meanwhile, Andhra were 177 for 5 in reply to Madhya Pradesh’s 321 in a Group ‘C’ match being played at Vizianagaram.

Vihari made 77 and Sumanth cracked 57 but the hosts trail MP by 144 runs with five wickets in hand. D. B. Ravi Teja is batting on 7.
