BCCI Announces Central Contracts; Here's List Of All Categories And Their Salaries
Brushing off all doubts and rumors, all the three seniors Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja have retained their A+ category
New Delhi: India's Test and ODI captain Rohit Sharma and batting talisman Virat Kohli retained their place in the top category, while the out-of-favour duo of Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan returned to the fold in lower brackets in a 34-strong list of contracted players released by the BCCI on Monday.
The A+ grade, which commands an annual retainership fee of Rs seven crore, also features Ravindra Jadeja and pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah much like the last few years.
Salaries:
To get a central contract a player must play at least 3 Tests, 8 ODIs or 10 T20Is in a year. The present contract period applies from October 2024 to September 2025.
Grade A+ -- Rs 7 crore
Grade A -- Rs 5 crore
Grade B -- Rs 3 crore
Grade C -- Rs 1 crore
