Jakarta: PV Sindhu finished runners-up in the women's singles badminton final in the ongoing Asian Games 2018 after she lost to Chinese Taipei's Tai Tzu Ying in straight games.

The final scoreline read 21-13, 21-16.

As a result, she won the silver medal, whereas Tai cinched gold.

Sindhu came into this match with a poor head-to-head record against Tai, winning just three out of 12 matches. This was Tai's 10th win against Sindhi across all competitions.
