Nanjing (China): While PV Sindhu will look to erase the painful memories of her previous final’s defeat, Carolina Marin will be out to dash Sindhu’s plans as the Indo-Spaniard rivals square off against each other in the BWF World Championships final here on Sunday.

Although the Rio Olympics finalists are yet to win a title this year, the two have found their gumption and peaked at the right time to make it to the final of this edition of the BWF Championships.

While Sindhu defeated the likes of Nozomi Okuhara and Akane Yamaguchi to reach the final, Marin overcame Saina Nehwal and He Bingjiao to make it to the title clash.

While Sindhu will be targeting to become the first Indian to win the World Championships, Marin will be keen to clinch her third worlds title.
