Young batting sensation Akshara Gupta produced a remarkable display of power-hitting in the Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) Women's Under-19 One-Day Trophy, scoring an unbeaten 306 runs off just 126 deliveries at the Sandis Compound Ground in Bhagalpur.
The 15-year-old batter dominated the opposition attack from the outset, striking 55 fours and eight sixes during her record-breaking innings. Akshara reached her half-century in only 16 balls and raced to a century in just 34 deliveries before continuing her assault to finish on 306 not out at a staggering strike rate of 242.86.

The innings ranks among the highest scores in Indian women's domestic cricket and further cements Akshara's reputation as one of the country's most promising young talents. Hailing from Raxaul in East Champaran district, she captains the Bihar Under-19 women's team and has become the first female cricketer from Bihar to participate in four consecutive BCCI women's tournaments within a span of two years.
Bihar Cricket Association president Harshvardhan praised the youngster's achievement, saying Bihar's women cricketers continue to bring recognition to the state through their performances. BCA secretary Ziaul Arfin also congratulated Akshara on her historic feat.
Akshara's stunning triple century is the latest example of Bihar's growing cricket talent pipeline. The state has recently produced several young players who have attracted national attention, highlighting the rapid development of cricket in the region.
