1st Hyderabad Interschool Sports Kudo Tournament Witness Participation From Over 25 Schools

Students performing well at the Hyderabad Interschool Sports Kudo Tournament will be considered for selection to participate in the 7th Telangana State Kudo Tournament

The tournament will also provide a competitive platform for identifying promising young Kudo athletes.
Hyderabad: The 1st Hyderabad Interschool Sports Kudo Tournament is being organized in Hyderabad with the participation of more than 25 schools and over 200 students, providing young athletes an opportunity to showcase their skills, discipline and sporting spirit.
The tournament is organized and conducted by Nippon Budo Sogo International India – Telangana and is being conducted under the aegis of Hanshi Mehul Voora, Founder of the Akshay Kumar Kudo Tournament, Nippon Budo Sogo International India (NBSII), Kudo India, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Organisation India (BJOI) and Global Taekwondo Association India.
The tournament is recognized by the Kudo Association of Telangana (KAT). KAT is recognized by the Kudo International Federation of India (KIFI), which is recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
The tournament aims to promote Kudo and martial arts among school students while developing discipline, physical fitness, confidence, sportsmanship and competitive spirit.
The tournament will also provide a competitive platform for identifying promising young Kudo athletes. Students performing well at the Hyderabad Interschool Sports Kudo Tournament will be considered for selection to participate in the 7th Telangana State Kudo Tournament.
Athletes who perform successfully at the State level will then have the opportunity to be selected for the National Kudo Tournament 2026, providing school students with a pathway to progress from interschool competition to state and national-level Kudo championships.
A special Best School Award will be presented to the school that secures the maximum number of medals in the tournament. The award will recognize the overall sporting performance and achievement of the participating school.
With participation from 25+ schools and more than 200 students, the tournament is expected to be a significant platform for encouraging the growth of Kudo among school students in Hyderabad and Telangana.
