Youngster Held for Car Racing, Injuring Cop in Cyberabad

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police on Sunday detained a youngster for indulging in car racing and causing injuries to a police constable.
Following information a large number of youth were gathered to see racing, the police rushed to IKEA and tried to stop the car. However, the car driver did not stop and hit the police. A constable Ramesh, who tried to stop him, suffered serious injuries to his hand in the incident.
The Raidurgam police, who registered a case, detained the youngster, who was involved in rash driving. The car along with a mobile phone was from the driver. On seeing the police, the other racers fled. The police have launched a hunt to nab.
