Water Supply to Hyderabad Areas to Be Disrupted for 24 Hours
According to the HMWS&SB, the affected areas would include BHEL, MIG-I and II, Rail Vihar, Chandanagar, Indian School of Business and KPHB Colony. Shaikpet, Kokapet, Manikonda and Narsingi would face partial disruption the board said.
Hyderabad:Drinking water supply to parts of Hyderabad will be disrupted for 24 hours from 10 am on August 17 to 10 am on August 18 due to major maintenance and pipeline works at the Singur project, which supplies drinking water to the city.
According to the HMWS&SB, the affected areas would include BHEL, MIG-I and II, Rail Vihar, Chandanagar, Indian School of Business and KPHB Colony. Shaikpet, Kokapet, Manikonda and Narsingi would face partial disruption the board said.
Gayatrinagar, Borabanda and ESI were expected to face complete disruption, SR Nagar, Erragadda, Yellareddyguda, Ameerpet, Sanathnagar, NIMS, Banjara Hills, Somajiguda, Kondapur, Hafeezpet, Mayurinagar, Gokul Plots, Malaysian Township, Hydernagar and Bolaram may receive inadequate or low-pressure supply. The water board has urged consumers in the affected areas to use water judiciously during the 24-hour maintenance period.
