Water Leakage From Slice Gate Of NS Left Canal In Nalgonda

NALGONDA: The irrigation department has taken up repair of the damaged gate of the third sluice of Nagarjuna Sagar left canal at Narsimulagudem of Nidmanoor mandal in Nalgonda district following a leak of water.
On Tuesday, 3374 cusecs of water were released to the left canal from NSP for drinking purpose and filling of irrigation tanks. After release, a leakage of the water from the gate of third slice of the canal was noticed.
Officials rushed to the place and repaired the gate.
