Water Board Seizes 12 Illegal Motors In Kukatpally
The board, the use of unauthorised motors to draw water directly from supply pipelines could reduce water pressure and affect the supply to other consumers.

Hyderabad: HMWS&SB vigilance officials seized 12 illegal motors installed on drinking water pipelines in Vivekanandanagar Colony under the Kukatpally zone on Thursdaym during a special inspection was conducted in Division 22, Gayathrinagar ward, between 8 am and 10 am. The board, the use of unauthorised motors to draw water directly from supply pipelines could reduce water pressure and affect the supply to other consumers. The board said it would continue inspections to curb the use of illegal motors and ensure equitable distribution of drinking water. It warned that action would be taken against those violating the prescribed rules.
