Visibility in Nizamabad Drops to 100 m Due to Fog

 Nizamabad: Dense fog enveloped Nizamabad on Friday, reducing visibility to around 100 metres during the morning hours in the town and along National Highway 63 passing through it. Vehicles moved with headlights on as motorists exercised caution.

The fog was particularly dense on the outskirts, muting the town’s usually bustling atmosphere and slowing early-morning commuters who had to navigate through poor visibility.

Traffic on roads within the town and on the highway moved at a very slow pace, with visibility restricted to 100-200 metres. Vehicular movement on major routes, including the Nizamabad-Hyderabad, Nizamabad-Adilabad and Nizamabad-Nanded highways, was affected due to the heavy fog.

Meanwhile, social media was abuzz with images and videos of the mist-covered town, with several users noting that the fog added to Nizamabad’s charm.
