Vishnu Vardhan Reddy Takes Charge as Consul General of India of Dubai
Dr Reddy held an interactive session with members of the media at the Consulate General of India, Dubai and appreciated their continued support in playing a vital role in the consulate's outreach and communication efforts.
Hyderabad:Dr Emmadi Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, a Telangana native, assumed charge as Consul-General of India to Dubai and the Northern Emirates on Wednesday. Dr Reddy holds an MBBS degree from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, and an MD from AIIMS, New Delhi.
Dr Reddy, a 2008 batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, previously served as Regional Passport Officer (RPO) and head of MEA Branch Secretariat in Hyderabad, and as special secretary in the Telangana industries department on deputation. He was born in Warangal.
Proficient in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Spanish Dr Reddy has served in the Indian Missions in Madrid and Geneva and in the Europe West and the external publicity and public diplomacy division at the headquarters in New Delhi.
