Hyderabad: A gram panchayat officer (GPO) was caught red-handed by the sleuths of Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) at his office in Vikarabad on Monday in connection with Rs.6,000 bribe case.
The GPO demanded the bribe for processing an application related to the Kalyana Lakshmi scheme. Based on a complaint, the ACB sleuths laid a trap at the GPO’s office at Doma mandal in Vikarabad and caught him red-handed.
