Hyderabad: Telugu states' archers Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Chikitha Rao were part of the Indian women's compound archery team that retained its Asian Games gold medal by defeating China 238-234 on Wednesday.

The Indian team secured the gold with a world record-equalling score in the final.
