CM Revanth Suggests Uber To Establish Multi-Level Parking Facilities
CM Revanth Reddy advised the Uber representatives to focus on setting up multi-level parking facilities. The CM also pointed out inadequate parking infrastructure near Metro Rail stations was causing numerous problems.
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday urged Uber to focus on the growing parking challenges in major cities. The company was requested to come forward and take the initiative to establish multi-level parking facilities at identified areas. A delegation led by Uber Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dara Khosrowshahi met with CM Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills today.
CM Revanth Reddy informed Uber representatives about 'Bharat Future City' being developed near Hyderabad. The new city, spread across 30,000 acres, is unique on a global scale. The state government has invited 500 world-renowned companies to set up operations there, and several organizations have already come forward, he said. The Chief Minister added that Future City is located just 25 km from Shamshabad Airport, and over 100 companies participated and submitted investment proposals during the Global Summit held there last December, he stated.
