U-Turn Changes at Khajaguda and Malkamcheruvu
Officials said the move is aimed at preventing accidents and curbing motorists from entering the road in the wrong direction.
Hyderabad:Cyberabad traffic joint commissioner of police, Sunpreet Singh on Monday conducted a field inspection of Khajaguda DPS and Malkamcheruvu areas to assess traffic flow and identify measures to improve road safety.
At Khajaguda DPS, the JCP inspected the proposed new U-turn and interacted with local residents to gather their feedback. He directed ADCP Traffic (Serilingampally), ACP Madhapur Traffic and the Raidurgam Traffic SHO to permanently close the existing U-turn and establish a new one about 70 metres ahead.
Officials said the move is aimed at preventing accidents and curbing motorists from entering the road in the wrong direction.
Later, Singh inspected the High-Tension Road behind Malkamcheruvu and reviewed traffic congestion. He observed that two U-turns located within a short distance were causing confusion among motorists and could increase the risk of accidents. He directed officials to close both closely placed U-turns and take immediate preventive measures to regulate traffic and ensure smooth movement of vehicles
