Two Youths Die in Road Accident While Riding to Native Village to Cast Vote

Mishap near Raghavapur on NH close to Station Ghanpur

Two youths lost their lives in a road accident while travelling on a bike to their native village to cast their votes in the second phase of the Panchayat elections.

The deceased were identified as Burra Kalyan (27) and Naveen (27), residents of Nandanam village in Inavolu mandal of Hanumakonda district. Both were living in Hyderabad and had set out on a bike to reach their village to exercise their franchise.
While they were travelling, an unidentified vehicle hit their bike on the National Highway near Raghavapur, close to Station Ghanpur. The impact was severe, killing both youths on the spot.
Police rushed to the scene on receiving information, registered a case and launched an investigation. The tragic incident has cast a pall of gloom over their native village.
