Trumpet Festival Rally Held In Secunderabad
Rev Kumar said the Trumpet Festival was the third festival of Christians, marking the belief in resurrection of the dead and transfiguration of the living through Lord Jesus Christ.
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Trumpet Festival Rally was held on Saturday across key areas of Secunderabad, with participation from pastors and members of various churches. The rally was flagged off at Millennium Methodist Church by Rev T.M. Kumar, convener of the Twin Cities Pastors Fellowship.
Rev Kumar said the Trumpet Festival was the third festival of Christians, marking the belief in resurrection of the dead and transfiguration of the living through Lord Jesus Christ.
Participants from different churches joined the rally. “We represent different churches, yet we are gathered here as one to demonstrate unity and proclaim the love of Jesus Christ,” said members of a group including Mangesh Pande, Mohan Kenoly, David Norfolk, Tarun, Hemanth, Joy and Joseph Prakash.
Organising committee president Selvin Raj said the annual event saw participation from people across denominations and several bishops and pastors. “People from various Christian denominations took part in the annual event held across Secunderabad. Several bishops and pastors participated, and the large public turnout marked the success of the festival.”
