Train users want MMTS train timings changed

Hyderabad: Train users demanded reinstatement and enhancement of MMTS services in Hyderabad, during a meeting hosted by South Central Railway’s principal chief commercial manager at Kacheguda with rail users' associations.
The service has seen several disruptions over the past few years. The Suburban Train and Bus Travellers Association, along with members of ZRUCC-SCR, emphasised that commuters urgently need MMTS trains to operate on the Medchal to Falaknuma route during the early morning.
This request comes as many southbound express trains, including services like Yeshwantpur and Vande Bharat express trains, begin operations early from Kacheguda.
Participants also called for a revision in the timing of MMTS trains and the inclusion of a stop at Malkajgiri. The station, currently undergoing upgrades with new amenities such as escalators, lifts, and improved passenger shelters, is seen as a crucial hub for enhancing connectivity.
