Pandals are showcasing spectacular creativity and vibrancy for Ganesh Chaturthi this year
HYDERABAD: Pandals are showcasing spectacular creativity and vibrancy for Ganesh Chaturthi this year, with a remarkable emphasis on LED screen designs, patterns, and colours that are captivating devotees across the city. The fusion of technology with tradition has taken centre-stage in Hyderabad’s festive décor.
Popular pandals are adorned with LED screens projecting dynamic visuals, intricate patterns, and vibrant hues, creating an immersive environment for visitors. These digital displays complement elaborate Ganesh idols and thematic decorations, making the pandals visually stunning both day and night. The use of bright, shifting colours and animated imagery adds a modern, electrifying dimension to the traditional festival.
“Using the latest LED technology helps us create ever-changing, vibrant patterns that keep attracting devotees throughout the day and night,” said Vipin Shah, a Ganesh pandal organiser at Dilsukhnagar.
Artisans have crafted Ganesh idols in radiant shades of yellow, blue, red, green, and gold that harmonise beautifully with the LED-lit backdrops. Many displays portray mythological themes, contemporary cultural motifs, and national pride, making each pandal unique. The Khairatabad Ganesh idol, noted as one of the tallest in India, continues to awe visitors with its grandeur and eco-friendly design.
Adding to the variety of decorations, the Ganesh temple in Secunderabad is uniquely decked with leaf branches intricately arranged on the ceiling of the temple premises, blending nature’s simplicity with festivity and lending a serene atmosphere.
Community pandals are also competing in innovation, featuring eco-friendly materials and well-choreographed light shows that narrate stories from Indian heritage. This blend of art, devotion, and technology enriches the festive atmosphere, drawing large crowds eager to witness the spectacle.
