TPCC Chief To Tour Districts on April 3–4 To Strengthen Party at Grassroots
Move aims to boost grassroots strength, guide cadre, counter opposition narratives
Adilabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud will attend district committee meetings in Mancherial, Asifabad, Adilabad and Nirmal on April 3 and 4, marking the first such meetings after the formation of new District Congress Committees.
Party sources said the meetings aim to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots and guide leaders on taking party programmes and government welfare schemes to the public, while countering opposition parties on policy issues.
Goud will interact with District Congress Committee members, representatives of frontal organisations and members of the political affairs committee.
In Mancherial, DCC president Pinninti Raghunath Reddy is making arrangements for the April 3 meeting, which is likely to be attended by MLAs K. Premsagar Rao, Gaddam Vivek and Gaddam Vinod.
The TPCC chief will attend a meeting in Asifabad later the same day, with arrangements being made by DCC president Atram Suguna. On April 4, he will participate in meetings in Adilabad and Nirmal districts. Arrangements are being overseen by DCC president Naresh Jadhav and MLA Vedma Bojju respectively.
Party leaders said the initiative is part of efforts by the leadership to consolidate the organisation following the reconstitution of district committees.
