Tiger Creates Panic In Mancherial

ADILABAD: The movement of a tiger in Rallygadpur gram panchayat of Hajipur mandal has created panic among locals in Mancherial district. Farmers have stopped going to their fields out of fear of tiger attacks.

According to locals, the tiger killed a cow, and its carcass was found in the forests of Rallygadpur on Saturday. For the past two months, a tiger has been sighted in the forests of Tiryani, Kasipet, and on the outskirts of Bellampalli town.

Cattle grazers are particularly wary and have stopped taking their livestock into the forests for grazing. Some farmers are also avoiding visits to their agricultural fields and prefer to return home well before sunset to prevent any untoward incidents.
