Group-1 marks are out, ranking after recounting period
The TGPSC conducted the Group-I Main exam from October 21 to 27, 2024.
Hyderabad:The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) on Monday released the results of Group-I mains examination which was held in October 2024. Out of the 31,000 candidates who qualified crossed the preliminary exams, 21,000 appeared for the mains for 563 Group-1 posts.
The TGPSC on Monday released the marks of all the 21,000 candidates and uploaded them on its website. TGPSC will not conduct interviews for the final selection of candidates. They will be selected based on merit in the mains.
The Group-1 mains examinations were conducted from October 21 to 27 in 2024. OIfficials, who completed the evaluation process of this examination, have made the details of the marks available in the logins of the candidates. These marks can be downloaded till 5 pm on March 16.
TGPSC has advised candidates to download the mark sheets obtained in the mains and keep them safe until the recruitment process is completed.Candidates can apply for recounting of marks on the TGPSC website from March 10 to 24 at 5 pm by paying `1,000 per paper.
TGPSC chairman B. Venkatesham on Monday said that after the conclusion of the recounting process, the commission will host the merit list of candidates on the commission’s website. The candidates are advised to keep all the required original certificates and documents ready.
“Once the period of recounting requests is over, after resolving such requests, the final General Ranking List (GRL) will be published. Based the GRL, the required number of candidates will be picked up for certificate verification. Such candidates will be informed individually and also through TGPSC website," the Venkatesham said.
The marks of the candidates, who were admitted for the mains examination on the direction of the High Court, were not displayed as per the orders of the High Court. The commission would release Group-II results on Tuesday, Group-III exam results on March 14, Hostel welfare posts results on March 17, extension officers' posts results on March 19. The officials said they would release all results by March 20.
